Approx Schedule

1:30 PM – Arrival

2:00 PM – Ceremony Starts

3:00 PM – Ceremony Finishes

3:15 PM - 4:15 PM – Afternoon tea and chats

Dress Code

Formal.

Example, dress shirt and/or jacket and long pants for men, maxi/knee length dress for women. We want you to feel comfortable.

Food

Please join us for a light afternoon tea after the ceremony in the courtyard area adjacent to the church.

There will be grazing platterse and a selection of wraps and sandwiches. Dietary options will be a available including gluten, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan.

Our ceremony will be a Christian Orthodox wedding and will run for around 45 minutes - hour. It is “Egyptian time” so please bear with us if we run behind haha!

Orthodox weddings are traditional, so it may look a little different from a typical modern ceremony. It is centred on Christ, prayer and our marriage sacrament before God.

  • Welcome and opening prayers

  • Scripture readings

  • The crowning of bride and groom

  • Blessing and exchange of rings

  • Final prayers and blessing

The ceremony concludes with congratulations from family and guests.

There’s plenty of free parking on site. And easy access for Ubers/Taxis.

If you are having trouble arranging transport please reach out. We may be able to help line up a carpool to get you there!

  • We have some restrictions with numbers for venue and catering. If you have someone you’d like to bring that’s not invited, please check with us first.

  • Your presence is the only gift we need.
    For those who have asked, a wishing well will be available on the day.


    Any contribution will go toward our honeymoon and starting married life together.

  • The event is completely indoors and we will be going ahead rain, hail or shine!

  • Yes, we have some facilities available for kids. There’s a playground as well.
